About Your Library
You can use the library's search catalog (InfoCentre) to find whatever kind of book your looking for. Books in the library are grouped into seven main areas: young adult (teen) (YA), fiction (F), non-fiction (NF), everybody (E), biographies (B), reference (R), and graphic novels (GN).
E - EverybodyEverybody books are fiction books that are easier to read for beginning readers. Most of these books have lots of pictures, too. Anyone can check out these books, but these are the only books that Kindergartners can check out.
There are two subsections within the Everybody section. These are Easy Non-Fiction (E-NF) and the Beginning Chapter (E-BC) books. Easy Non-Fiction are titles that give factual information, but use easier language and more pictures. Beginning Chapter books are fiction books, but they are easier for beginning readers to read. Books in both these sections are best suited to 1st and 2nd graders. The Everybody section is in order by the first three letters of the author's last name. The 'E' section is located in the upper right corner of the map in green. |
